Re: His name - Christopher Dean:       At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo the team of Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean redefined Ice Dancing with their Gold Medal performance to Ravel's BOLERO ( Christopher's SIRE's name).  They received the maximum score for artistic performance from all nine judges.

Christopher's Adult Career (in Premiership)

Christopher's first adult show in Premiership was in Irvine, CA 3/27/99, where he got his six winner's ribbons.
Christopher granded in just two shows, making him Dimend's first eight month old Grand.
This finished off the 1998-1999 season.
In ACCA Christopher was the 2nd Best Alter in the Southwest Region for 1998-1999.
He had a spectacular start for the 1999-2000 Season, making 27 out of 30 possible Finals in the first four shows.  These included two Best Cat in Premiership!
At the end of June, he was #3 in Premiership in the CFA Southwest Region and appeared to be headed for a Regional Win.
Regretfully, this was not to continue.
In July, Christopher developed a bad attitude in the judging ring and by September, I had to quit showing him.  He had done so well, early on though, that it wasn't until March, 2000 that he finally dropped out of the top 20 in Premiership, and missed his regional win.  He finished the season as #23 in Premiership.

In
ACCA, for 1999-2000,  Christopher was:
National - 8th Best Alter
National - 2nd Best Blue Alter
Southwest Region - Best Alter

Even though Christopher doesn't like the Show Halls, he is
cherished as a loving, and affectionate companion in his home invironment.
He and Cowboy are best buddies.
