ENTRY INFORMATION: Entries for Championship, Premiership, AOV, and Provisional classes must have the registration number on the entry blank and printed
in the catalog. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Entry clerk will phone collect to clarify entries where necessary. BENCHING requests will be honored wherever possible. One request or Agent allowed per exhibitor. NO NEGATIVE REQUESTS. CFA Show Rules will be strictly enforced. Rules may be obtained from CFA by sending $5.00 to PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005

MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: CFA Southwest Region. No refund for failure to bench. No postdated checks. $35 charge for returned checks. No Kittens under the age of 4 months, or cats not officially entered are allowed in the show hall. FEES must accompany a signed Entry Blank, unless Faxed or E-Mailed.
ALL FAX or E-MAIL ENTRIES must be paid within 10 days or at check-in. whichever comes first per CFA Rules.

SHOW HALL: The Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Avenue, Tucson,  AZ 85701. (520) 791-4101.  The show hall is air conditioned, and handicapped accessible. There is a $4.00 parking fee. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED EXCEPT OUTSIDE. If you have small children, please help keep them under control.

DIRECTIONS to Show hall:  From eastbound I-10 (from Phoenix): Take Prince Road exit (exit 254) to frontage road. Take frontage road south to Congress Street. Turn left to Church Avenue. Turn right to the Convention Center.  From westbound I-10:  Take the 29th Street exit to frontage road.  Continue north on
frontage road to Congress Street. Turn right to Church Avenue. Turn right to the Convention Center.

CHECK IN: Check-in time will be Saturday from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.  Judging will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, and  9:00 a.m. on Sunday. 
Show Hours 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 900 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. No Cage may be dismantled without the Show Manager's
approval until all finals have been completed.

BENCHING: Cages are 36" wide by 24" deep by 27" high. If your Security cage will not fit in this space, you must purchase a groom space. Only one cat or 2 kittens per cage in accordance with CFA show rules.

LITTER: Will be provided. Bring your own litter pans.

HOTELS: SHOW HOTEL: Inn Suites Hotel and Resort - 475 N. Granada Ave. Tucson AZ  85701.  (520) 622-3000.
Queen Suite $64 per night/King Suite $74 per night. Includes full breakfast buffet; Daily social Hour: Airport shuttle.  No Pet Deposit.  
Block of rooms available until 5/19/2008.  Use code word "CCCC" when reserving.  DIRECTIONS: From west I-10 take Prince Exit (254), take frontage road to
St. Mary's Road, turn left to Granada, turn right to hotel.  From east I-10 take 22nd/29th St. Exit (260), take frontage road to St. Mary's Road, turn right to Granada,
turn right to hotel. Less than one mile to the Show Hall, and there are many good restaurants in the area.

Alternate hotel: Hotel Arizona, 181 W. Broadway Blvd, Tucson AZ 85701.  For reservations, contact Bob at (520)624-8711 and mention the cat show for $69+tax per night rate. This is a great hotel for vendors and non-exhibitors, unless you don't mind paying the $50 per cat/per stay, non-refundable pet fee. (they take the room out of service for a day to clean).  Amenities include Airport shuttle and free breakfast, but the major PLUS is that it is within walking distance of the Show Hall.

FOOD: Sorry no outside food allowed. There will be a food concession stand available.  Sorry no Grand Parties.
Tin roof Sundaes will be served, and there will be baked goods available.

HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, and calici viruses and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All entries must be free of fleas or fungus. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not allowed for entry, per CFA show rules.

AWARDS: Ribbons and awards will be given according to CFA show rules. Permanent awards will be used for class awards. Fabric ribbons will be available upon request.

THE CAT-A-LINA CATS CAT CLUB AND/OR THE TUCSON CONVENTION CENTER WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE, LOSS, PERSONAL INJURY OR LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. NO CATS MAY BE LEFT OVERNIGHT IN THE SHOW HALL. THERE WILL BE NO VENDING FROM CAGES OR GROOM SPACES.
